It is time to light the pumpkins and wear our costumes! Friday we had a beautifully warm sunny day to carve our pumpkins.  I cleaned out the pumpkins, I only bled a little 😥   Dane, our son, carved 3 and Brandon and I both carved 2 each.  This year we just did old fashioned pumpkin carving instead of the elaborate patterns and it was much more enjoyable.   We grew our own pumpkins this year and what I learned from that is….next year...

Brandon, my hubby, has been very busy.  He carved another Skull Nutcracker for the Halloween Season and it is now listed on Ebay.  It is the forth one he has done and they are one of my favorites.  His work is exceptional  and you can go over to his blog or our website to see his incredible works. After much hard deliberation by our son, the name has been chosen.  Our kittens name is (drumroll……….)  Shadow.  It has turned out to be the perfect name as he follows our gray cat, Leo, everywhere.  Leo has been quite tolerant of the whole ordeal but they have their moments too.
