{"id":1116,"date":"2011-06-06T14:37:54","date_gmt":"2011-06-06T14:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/?p=1116"},"modified":"2011-12-06T14:17:39","modified_gmt":"2011-12-06T14:17:39","slug":"cleveland-indians-and-the-cleveland-zoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.melissaetto.com\/?p=1116","title":{"rendered":"Cleveland Indians and The Cleveland Zoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brandon won tickets at work to an event that combines two things I\u00a0 love, the zoo and baseball.\u00a0 This year&#8217;s Cleveland Indians season ticket holder player meet and greet was held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.\u00a0 We attended a meet and greet at the stadium about 5 years ago and we had a great time so we were really looking forward to going to this event.<\/p>\n<p>We haven&#8217;t been to the zoo yet this season.\u00a0 They have just opened the Elephant Crossing exhibit in May and we are attending a separate function for zoo members, Elephant Tuesday, next week where we get an up close and personal walk through of that exhibit.\u00a0 I am very excited about that so I will just show a quick pic of the area and the elephants.\u00a0 I really missed the elephants while they were away!\u00a0 I am so happy they are back.<a href=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9554-Copy.JPG\" rel=\"lightbox[1116]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1119\" title=\"IMG_9554 - Copy\" src=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9554-Copy.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_9554 - Copy\" width=\"534\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9565.JPG\" rel=\"lightbox[1116]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1120\" title=\"IMG_9565\" src=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9565.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_9565\" width=\"522\" height=\"392\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The new exhibit gives the elephants lots more room and is a really nice upgrade to the old exhibit.<\/p>\n<p>We went into the greenhouse to see the butterflies.\u00a0 There were only a couple other people in there with us so I finally got a few really good pictures of some of the butterflies&#8230;.<a href=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9571-Copy.JPG\" rel=\"lightbox[1116]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1121\" title=\"IMG_9571 - Copy\" src=\"http:\/\/blog1.ardoria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IMG_9571-Copy.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_9571 - Copy\" width=\"608\" height=\"456\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Atlas Butterfly was really spectacular at about 10 &#8211;
