It’s been awhile since my last post.\u00a0 This time of the year gets really hectic for us.\u00a0 Our family has 5 birthdays all in a matter of a few weeks it’s like birthday-palooza.\u00a0\u00a0 Dane’s birthday is included in this stretch of birthdays and this year he turned 13.<\/p>\n

I had asked him for the past month how he wanted his cake decorated.\u00a0 He finally decided on Wednesday that he wanted it decorated\u00a0 like one of his favorite video games….”Resident Evil -The\u00a0 Umbrella Chronicles” and we would put the Umbrella symbol on his cake.<\/p>\n

This year was the first time I worked with fondant.\u00a0 It was a learning experience but I really enjoyed it.\u00a0 I made my own Marshmallow Fondant <\/a>Thursday so it could sit overnight.\u00a0 I made the cakes early Friday morning then I started decorating and by 2:30 it was completed!<\/p>\n

Dane was very happy with his cake and with his birthday!\u00a0 He got some really great gifts and we got him a new computer which really surprised him!\u00a0 Now he won’t be using mine all the time and I can go back to using mine whenever I want!\u00a0 Maybe now I will post more often.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
