A New Bat Wing Clock

I had been in a painting slump for a while.  I suddenly felt like getting some of my half finished projects done.  One of those is this Bat Wing Mantel Clock.  I had it almost finished for a while and it was just sitting so it seemed like the best thing to complete first.  I really love this clock design and when you see it in person it is a pretty impressive design.  It has a wingspan of 20 ½ inches and is 7 ½ inches tall.

I base coated this one in a deep purple and trimmed it in silver.  The clock face is painted black and has a skull and spider webs.  The front has a bunch of bats in flight.  The top has a haunted mansion scene with a bright full moon and cemetery.  There are a few spooky inhabitants and also some more flying bats.  On the back you will find a skull bat.

I love the bat wings.  Brandon carves those and attaches them to the clock.  It really makes the clock special.

I did learn that purple is a really hard color to capture on my camera.  Some pictures it looks purple, some it looks blue.  Trust me it is purple!

I have listed the the clock on Ebay.  I really would like to just list everything on Etsy but things just seem to loom out there.  So if you want to see the listing just click on the word Ebay.

I completed a couple other items and will be listing them
